How To Use The Law Of Attraction For Success

How To Use The Law Of Attraction For Success

Ever since the launch of the documentary, "The Secret," as well as the Oprah Winfrey and Larry King interviews of the stars, people want to know more about how to use the law of attraction.
Prior to learning about the law of attraction, effort was the popular way of trying to get what you wanted. In other words, keep on trying until you succeed. However, this method failed as often as it succeeded. Effort alone, without the breaks you need to get ahead, can often be frustratingly useless.
Actually, the law of attraction is not new at all. In fact, it's ancient. A direct statement of it is in the Bible when Jesus Christ said, "Ask and ye shall receive, seek and ye shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you." Besides, Jesus Christ, the Buddha, Krishna, and Lao Tse have also mentioned it.
Even science cannot deny it. For one thing, you can prove it to yourself. It lends itself to empirical testing. For another, it's mechanics can be explained by the field of Quantum Physics. In psychology, too, Carl Jung wrote elegantly about it, calling it synchronicity.
The reason it does appear new to most people is because the idea has been repressed culturally. There are many reasons why this has happened, ranging from political ideology to economic favoritism. The law of attraction was kept secret to restrict power to the few.
In essence, the theory of the law of attraction states that thoughts are energy. This energy attracts the object of thought. Thoughts act as magnets. They influence people and events. They influence circumstances and align desires with conditions.
Thoughts, then, participate in the theme of universal laws. Just as you have laws of gravity or thermodynamics, so, too, you have laws of thoughts.
The law of thought is simple: like attracts like. If you think, feel, and act in a depressed way, you'll attract depressing people and circumstances to you. Alternatively, if you think, feel, and act in a joyful way, you'll attract wonderful people and circumstances to you.
Once we understand how thoughts work, we also understand how to use the law of attraction. Focus on the things you want and stop paying attention to the things that you don't want. When you dwell on problems, you'll get more difficulties. When you dwell on solutions, you'll get more answers. When you choose to be miserable, you'll find more things to carp about and when you choose to be happy, you'll find more things to feel grateful for.
The best way to learn how to use the law of attraction is to set clear goals on what you want. Then take time each day to affirm them, visualize them, and act on any hunches or intuitions you get about what action to take or refrain from taking.
